FaceTime Photo Sessions - Bringing Some JOY Into Your Home
It’s day 45687213845(?) of quarantining and I don’t know about you, but it has not been easy for me. Some days are better than others, but like so many, our lives changed dramatically overnight. As a person that is fueled by the energy of others, by creativity and laughter, I found myself feeling pretty lost.
And then a fellow photographer friend mentioned that she was offering FaceTime Photo Sessions and I jumped all over the opportunity. Finally a reason to blow dry my hair, put a bra on and apply a bit of makeup. I wasn’t sure what to expect - but I can tell you I had no idea how much I would LOVE it. It was so refreshing and brought so much joy to our little family.
So I started to offer them and they are so much fun - I literally smile the entire time for each session. And I don’t know about you, but that is the perfect medicine right now.
How Does It Work?
All you need is an iPhone, internet connection, some natural light, and the desire to have fun!
It would be helpful if you had a tripod for your phone (like this one), but it is totally not necessary (some clients have taped their phone to the ceiling or the wall!).
Be sure that you have enabled FaceTime Live Photos (Settings>FaceTime>Live Photos - toggle on). If you had to change that setting be sure to restart your phone before our call.
Wait…did you say, “FREE”?!
YES!! Genuinely and honestly…these bring so much joy to me and hopefully to you that it just makes my heart happy to do them. It allows me to feel connected to you and it is an honor to be invited “into” your home.
Please know that these are low-quality images intended for social media and phone sharing. They are not intended to be printed.
Also, we are dependent on the internet, which can be pretty finicky as of late…so some patience in connection issues is definitely required!
