I’m Lindsey and I photograph that journey for families all over Denver.
I create art out of your profound story of transformation. I walk alongside you through pregnancy and into the postpartum period as a support, doula, friend, and guide. I remind you that you already have all of the tools needed to achieve your goals - intuition, trust, and love. I offer a holistic experience that allows you to feel heard, supported, safe, and respected through the entire process. So that you can truly lean in with every part of your body and soul.
And then I get to share that transformative story with you through a collection of images that will both remind and transport you back into your profound journey.
Your birth will be the most amazing and transformative day of your life.
As the surges of labor build and grow with intensity you’ll travel to another place. To a place many of us never knew existed. To a place so deep within your soul, so connected to the Source, that everything else falls away. At one point you may land and begin to feel a sense of fear as you teeter on the edge of life-altering change. But with it, there is an unwavering sense of knowing. As you look around and see an abundance of love and support - guiding you forward- reminding you that you are safe.
And then they are here. In your arms. And it’s the most glorious feeling. The whole journey - not just that moment when you feel the warmth of your baby against your skin but the entire journey that brought you to this moment.
To be invited to witness and document private, personal, and life-altering moments in people’s lives is an honor I don’t take lightly. The respect I hold for each space and the souls within it is genuine and it feeds my soul. I seriously have the coolest job ever.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me pouring out everything I am into my two children. Every day they grow and it’s my greatest creative role to be their mother molding and shaping them into the little humans they are. They challenge me and inspire me every day. I am lucky to also have a partner in life. My husband stands by me through it all, supporting my desire to create and serve birthing families. He is the most kick-ass father around.
Just a few of my favorite things
Chunky jewelry (especially moonstone) and live music. Ocean waves, collecting rocks, and the smell of lavender. The contagious giggles of my two children, their little feet, big smiles and incredible hearts.
Cold red wine served in a handmade ceramic cup. Houseplants in every available space in my home - filling the room with fresh air and love.
Sunshine on my back, plants budding in the garden, cooking with friends. My camera within arms reach to document the story of my own family always unfolding.

My Story
It wasn't till after my first child that I discovered a passion for all things birth, pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum. During my second pregnancy, I discovered that Birth Photography was a thing and what a doula was and hired both! The first birth I documented was in September of 2016. My daughter was 3 months old and I just finished the very first Essence of Birth Certification Course with Birth Becomes You. I walked out of that weekend course with a heart on FIRE. I literally remember walking to my car and the parking lot, the sky, the colors, the world, looked different - it was like the colors were vibrant and everything was glowing. I am not sure that many people get to experience this feeling - but it was in THAT moment that I knew without any doubt that I was exactly where I was supposed to be, doing exactly what I was supposed to be doing. That feeling was only further validated and that flame further fed with my first birth, and has continued to grow with each birth succeeding it.
