The Birth of Jordan
I walked into the most serene and calm birth space with light music, deep breathing, gentle light coming through the gorgeous film on the windows. I watched Oscar gently touch and caress his wife, whispering words of encouragement and love in her ear. She was inward, eyes closed, swaying and breathing, moving her fingers across wooden combs. Occasionally she would open her eyes and a soft smile would fall across her lips as she made eye contact with Oscar.
Inclusive Places to Give Birth in Denver
At Lindsey Eden Photography and Doula Support, I welcome and support all kinds of families and birth preferences. I believe wholeheartedly that LOVE IS LOVE. That Black Lives Matter and we are at a critical point of needing to help change the Black Maternal Mortality Rates. That people of all shapes and sizes have the right to birth the way they want to.
Embracing Change: A Birth Story
Baby K just turned 6 months old and in celebration, Kim shared her birth story on social media. Below are her words and with the exception of one or two, a collection of images that she selected to help tell her story.
Please take some time to enjoy their journey and witness their power as they navigated long hours and many changes with grace, humor and humility.
